Mother’s Day flowers carry meaning beyond their beauty. They’re often tied to memory. The scent of a garden she tended, a bloom from her wedding bouquet, or the simple gesture of a child picking a dandelion. When words feel insufficient, flowers speak: Roses for gratitude, Lilies for devotion, or her favorite wildflower for “I see you.”
They also honour the quieter sides of motherhood—the early mornings, the patience, the love that asks for nothing. In a holiday crowded with cards and brunches, flowers remain a living, fleeting gift, much like the moments we cherish most.
One of the things I love about flowers, is that they’re imperfectly perfect. Not every bouquet is show-stopping. Maybe the grocery store hydrangeas are a little lopsided, or the toddler’s picked daisies are already wilting. That’s the point—love doesn’t need to be flawless to be real.
They fade—which makes them precious. Unlike a gift that lasts forever, flowers remind us to appreciate love while it’s here. Their brief bloom mirrors the fleeting nature of childhood, of time with our mothers, of the small beautiful moments we’d never want to take for granted.

Our colloaboration with Lane Crawford showcases our Mamma Mia bouquet in a riot of pink hues alongside our "Living Bouquet" of Hydrangreas. Hydrangeas are always special at this time of year as they are just coming into season and they express heartfelt emotion, gratitude and a deep understanding.
